Job Description

M&E Quantity Surveyor (Leeds Area) Location: Leeds area (UK projects, occasional travel) Salary: £60 – 80K DOE + benefits

A leading design and build contractor, specialising in high-quality industrial, commercial, and data centre projects across the UK and Europe, is seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Leeds-based team.

In this role, you'll manage mechanical and electrical packages from tender to final account, ensuring cost efficiency and quality across some of the UK's most exciting build projects. You'll work closely with project teams, suppliers, and clients, handling budgets, variations, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage M&E costs from estimate to final account.

  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Prepare cost reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

  • Assess and agree variations and claims.

  • Ensure compliance with contracts and industry standards.

About You:

  • Proven M&E Quantity Surveyor experience (industrial/data centre ideal).

  • Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Relevant QS qualification.
