Experienced Site Manager required for a leading main contractor delivering residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects across Greater London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities from inception through to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and suppliers
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and site procedures
- Monitor project progress against programme deadlines
- Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging works
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management teams
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Lead site meetings and ensure effective communication across teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience working for a UK main contractor
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and H&S legislation
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
