We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our project delivery team on major construction projects across Greater London. Working for a leading main contractor, you will support the successful delivery of residential, commercial, mixed-use, education, healthcare, and infrastructure schemes by ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' site engineering experience and a strong understanding of construction methodologies, setting out, quality assurance, and health & safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out setting out and surveying activities using total stations, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
- Interpret and review technical drawings, specifications, and design information.
- Maintain accurate site records, including as-built information and daily site diaries.
- Monitor quality standards and implement quality assurance procedures.
- Assist with inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality control documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and report technical issues, proposing practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support the management of site logistics and construction sequencing.
- Assist with progress reporting, material tracking, and programme monitoring.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and design teams as required.

- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

- Full UK driving licence.
