We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the implementation of a Savings Platform for a banking or building society client. This is a senior delivery role responsible for managing a complex core banking and savings systems implementation, working across business and technology teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong prior experience delivering savings systems, deep knowledge of core banking platforms, and a proven background in regulated financial services environments.
Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a Savings Platform implementation programme
- Define and manage programme governance, structure, and controls
- Manage multiple interdependent workstreams including technology, data, operations, and change
- Oversee delivery of savings products, account structures, interest calculations, and customer journeys
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior business and technology stakeholders
- Manage third-party vendors and system integrators
- Ensure alignment with core banking architecture and enterprise standards
- Own programme planning, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational requirements
- Provide clear, concise reporting to senior leadership
- 10+ years of programme management experience
- Strong background in banking or building society environments
- Proven experience delivering savings systems or savings platform implementations
- Solid understanding of core banking platforms
- Experience managing large-scale IT and business change programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience working in regulated financial services environments
- Experience with digital savings platforms or product migrations
- Knowledge of interest engines, account servicing, and savings lifecycle
- Formal programme management qualifications (MSP, PgMP, Prince2, SAFe)
