- Contribute hands-on Java development on complex, performance-critical components
- Define and advocate for robust, scalable architecture using event-driven and distributed systems
- Act as a technical ambassador with clients, clearly communicating design decisions and trade-offs
- Mentor and support engineers, promoting high standards across the software development lifecycle
About You
- Significant experience as a Solution Engineer or senior engineer within capital markets technology
- Strong Java expertise with a focus on performance, concurrency, and low-latency systems
- Hands-on experience using Aeron in high-throughput trading or digital asset environments
- Deep understanding of trading systems such as OMS, EMS, SOR, FIX, or market connectivity
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders
Experience with distributed systems, consensus algorithms, or replicated state machines is highly desirable.
