As a Life Claims Assessor, you will manage individual life protection claims from initial notification through to settlement, working within clear guidelines to ensure speed, accuracy, and empathy in every case.
Responsibilities- Assess individual life protection claims in line with policy terms and claims philosophy
- Handle claims from start to finish within agreed authority and service standards
- Communicate with customers, intermediaries, doctors, reinsurers, and service providers
- Manage appeals and complaints, providing clear explanations of decisions and requirements
- Contribute ideas to improve claims processes and maintain best practice
- Proven experience as a Life Claims Assessor in underwritten protection products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organised and able to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Customer-focused with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
