Location: Remote

Rate: £350 - £400 per day (inside IR35)

Join a global professional services firm delivering technology-enabled consulting and operational solutions to the insurance industry. We're seeking a Life Claims Assessor who is passionate about providing fair, timely claims decisions and supporting customers when they need it most.

As a Life Claims Assessor, you will manage individual life protection claims from initial notification through to settlement, working within clear guidelines to ensure speed, accuracy, and empathy in every case.

Responsibilities

  • Assess individual life protection claims in line with policy terms and claims philosophy
  • Handle claims from start to finish within agreed authority and service standards
  • Communicate with customers, intermediaries, doctors, reinsurers, and service providers
  • Manage appeals and complaints, providing clear explanations of decisions and requirements
  • Contribute ideas to improve claims processes and maintain best practice

  • Proven experience as a Life Claims Assessor in underwritten protection products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organised and able to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Customer-focused with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment
