Employee Relations Manager

9-Month Contract (Mat Leave Cover) | 1 Day/Week in London Office | £300-400 per day

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to cover a maternity leave contract from September 2025 to July 2026. The Role

As Employee Relations Manager, you'll be the go-to expert for employee relations across the UK, US, and EMEA. You'll handle complex cases, guide managers on performance and compliance, and foster a transparent and inclusive workplace. This role offers a unique chance to influence employee experience on a global scale while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert on employee relations issues, advising managers and employees.

  • Manage performance, disciplinary, grievance, and conflict resolution cases in line with policy and legislation.

  • Partner with Legal and HR teams to ensure global compliance with evolving employment laws.

  • Develop and maintain ER policies, templates, and best practices.

  • Track and analyse ER data, reporting insights and trends to leadership.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in Employee Relations, ideally across international markets.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practice.

  • Skilled in conflict resolution, mediation, and problem-solving.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
