I’m currently partnering with a client who is looking to hire an experienced Senior Data Consultant to support the delivery of enterprise-grade data products across a large-scale data transformation programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of business, data architecture, and engineering - helping shape high-quality, reusable data assets that drive real business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead source-to-target mapping and end-to-end data lineage activities
  • Define and maintain data quality rules and KPI frameworks
  • Design facts, dimensions, and semantic models with architects and engineers
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
  • Support UAT, validation, and release of data products
  • Drive clarity across ambiguous requirements and challenge where needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years working across data platforms, analytics, or data product environments
  • Strong experience with data lineage, semantic modelling, facts & dimensions
  • Solid understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
  • Strong SQL and/or advanced Excel skills
  • Experience engaging with both business and technical teams
  • Comfortable in agile delivery environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Lakehouse architectures or API-backed data products
  • Exposure to data governance operating models and stewardship frameworks
