Law Enforcement / National Security experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and interpret business needs through workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and document analysis, and synthesize them into formal documentation (e.g., BRDs, user stories, use cases).
- Collaborate with clients to understand workflows, case processes, requirements, and operational challenges.
- Conduct 'As-Is' process analysis and define the desired 'To-Be' future state using process mapping methodologies.
- Translate operational requirements into clear, actionable business requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Client Services team to develop Statements of Work (SOWs), solution proposals, and implementation roadmaps based on documented requirements.
- Work with Product and Engineering to design, refine, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
- Serve as the voice of the customer (VOC) to Product and Engineering, validating prototypes and ensuring delivered solutions meet the business requirements.
- Support project lifecycle activities, including solution design, implementation, configuration, testing, and validation.
- Design and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, managing client sign-off for solution delivery and Go-Live.
- Conduct data analysis and identify insights, patterns, or risk areas that inform operational decision-making.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
You have:
- Experience in Law Enforcement, policing, or security operations (UK or international LEA experience highly desirable).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
- Proven ability to document requirements, business processes, and system specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
