About the Role
One of our Hospitality clients seeks an experienced and passionate leader to oversee a team of 20, and manage all aspects of its operations for their prominent Italian restaurant.
As the Restaurant / Venue Manager, you\’ll be vital in helping clients create smiles, while aiming to give them a great dining experience. You should enjoy developing people and be passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to customers by nurturing, training, and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment.
You will drive standards and have the ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brand standards and ways of working. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you\’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
The role will also involve analysing KPI\’s, facilitating and monitoring all team training, and adhering to food safety and Health & Safety policies.
Requirements
You should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight the customers. You should be an advocate for your team\’s fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 1-2-1\’s and PDP discussions to support their development and career within the business.
We are looking for an individual with prior experience in a volume catering and / or food environment, where a balance of speed and quality is important.
You should have experience of managing rotas, based on fluctuating customer volumes, experience in working with a multi-skilled team to support other areas of the business, based on customer demands.
You should be able to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, to include proficiency in managing performance, team coaching, and delivering team training.
Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, with a variety of shifts. Salary – up to £40k + Annual Bonus
