As a Housekeeping Assistant at this Residential Care Home, you will be a key part of the commitment to maintaining exceptional standards of comfort and cleanliness. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that residents, visitors and families have a positive impression of the home by keeping residents' rooms and communal areas spotlessly clean and tidy. In addition to housekeeping duties, this role also includes laundry responsibilities.
You will work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain impeccable standards and meet Health and Safety Regulations.
Essential Criteria
- Cleaning experience in a similar environment with a commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Understanding of the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to quickly build relationships with others
- Can demonstrate the ability to use initiative and work independently without direct supervision
This role requires you to work 14 hours per week, on Saturdays and Sundays only. £13.40 per hour.
