One of our Enfield based clients require a Chef to ensure that catering is provided within one of their care homes. High standards and excellent customer satisfaction must be delivered at all times. You will oversee kitchen services and make sure Health & Safety measures are in place and adhered to. You will be responsible for ensuring that food presentation achieves high standards at all times, meeting residents' needs.
Able to lead a team and work as a team player, build good relationships and listen to and support colleagues. Able to communicate and maintain strong relationships, including influencing skills, maintaining good relationships with all workplace colleagues, residents, families, Home Manager and Directors. Allocate tasks and ensure sufficient stock and staffing levels.
Requirements:
- Appropriate supervisory experience and relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food & Hygiene or Catering Services.
- Minimum Level 3 in Catering or equivalent QCF qualification.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Previous experience of working as a Chef.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of good practice in providing high quality food to meet residents' needs and budget guidelines.
Working 40 hours per week on a shift rota basis (earliest start would be 8am and latest finish 7pm).
