One of our Muswell Hill based clients require a Chef to ensure that catering is provided within one of their care homes.
- High standards and excellent customer satisfaction must be delivered at all times.
- You will oversee kitchen services and make sure Health & Safety measures are in place and adhered to.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that food presentation achieves high standards at all times, meeting resident’s needs.
- Able to lead a team and work as team player, build good relationships and listen to and support colleagues
- Able to communicate and maintain strong relationships, including influencing skills, maintaining good relationships with all workplace colleagues, residents, families, Home Manager and Directors.
- Allocate tasks and ensure sufficient stock and staffing levels.
Requirements
- Appropriate supervisory experience and relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food & Hygiene or Catering Services.
- Minimum Level 3 in Catering or equivalent QCF qualification.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Previous experience of working as a Chef.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of good practice in providing high quality food to meet resident’s needs and budget guidelines.
- Working 40 hours per week on a shift rota basis (earliest start would be 8am and latest finish 7pm)
