E Cloud Services is seeking an experienced Snowflake Platform Lead / Senior Consultant to join a major enterprise data transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale cloud data platform, leveraging technologies such as Snowflake, Confluent Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, Fivetran, and CI/CD. The successful consultant will combine strong hands-on technical expertise with leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery experience to support a modern, secure, and scalable data platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery, administration, and optimisation of enterprise Snowflake platforms
- Provide hands-on expertise across Snowflake, Azure Cloud, Confluent Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern data platform technologies
- Drive platform governance, automation, monitoring, security, resilience, and operational excellence
- Support solution architecture, technical design, and implementation activities
- Lead Agile delivery across multiple workstreams and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
- Mentor platform engineers and promote engineering best practices
- Manage production support, platform performance, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years' experience delivering enterprise Data Platform or Cloud Platform solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Administration and platform engineering
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Confluent Cloud / Kafka is highly desirable
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), GitHub, CI/CD, DevOps, and automation
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Mesh, Security, and enterprise platform operations
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
