Accounting Apprentice β AAT Level 3
The apprenticeship:
Qualification: AAT Level 3
Duration: 18 months
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking apprentice to join their friendly team. You will be an essential part of the team and will need strong attention to detail and be highly organised. This is a fantastic opportunity for career progression as they will continue to fund your training as you work towards becoming ACCA or CTA qualified.
About our client:
Our client are Qualified Accountants and Consultants who do things differently. They offer complete solutions for small and medium businesses, and act for a wide variety of individuals and charities across UK.
The role:
Possible start date: ASAP
Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm
Total working hours: 37.5
What you will do in your working day:
- Accounts
- Personal Taxation
- Payroll
- Bookkeeping
- Preparation of bookkeeping and management of accounts for small and medium entities for Management Accountants
- Working with spreadsheets, cloud-based accounting software, clientβs manual records, and bank account statements
- General administration work
- Prepare the trial balance and accounts
- Filing and archiving of financial statements and accounting files
- Preparation of financial records for client billing
- Answering telephone calls in the office and telephoning clients for information
- Research financial trend in the UK market
- Assisting all members of the team as and when required
- Ensuring that the Policies of the company are observed, and that good practice is encouraged, particularly in the areas of Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and Confidentiality
- This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform different tasks which are relevant to your role within the company to meet the overall business needs.
The training you will receive:
- Level 3 AAT qualification
- All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes
- Functional skills in English and Mathematics, if required
Prospects:
After your apprenticeship, they will continue to fund your training as you work towards becoming ACCA or CTA qualified, should you wish to.

You will be working in a residential home office. Please note that our client\βs Head Office is based in London.
