The Role
Working across local authority properties and facilities, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard. No two days will be the same; you’ll be a key part of a skilled team keeping public buildings and infrastructure in excellent condition.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Brickwork and stonework repairs, repointing, and making good
- General building maintenance across local authority properties
- Plastering, patching, and rendering repairs
- Minor carpentry, joinery, and door/window repairs
- Basic plumbing and drainage maintenance
- Groundworks and external repairs as required
- Liaising professionally with site management
