We are looking to appoint an Attendance Admin who will play a key role in promoting excellent attendance, maintaining accurate records, monitoring pupil attendance data, liaising with families, and supporting the school to ensure every student has the best opportunity to achieve success.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate attendance and punctuality records, ensuring all absence data is recorded, monitored and updated across relevant school systems.
- Conduct first‑day absence procedures, follow up on unexplained absences, and respond to attendance‑related queries from parents, carers and staff.
- Support the implementation of academy attendance strategies, promoting high levels of attendance and punctuality among students.
- Produce attendance reports, analyse data trends and provide information to academy leaders and other key stakeholders to support informed decision‑making.
- Build effective relationships with students, families, colleagues and external agencies, assisting with attendance interventions, meetings and home visits where required.
Pay range:
SCP 6 - 11 £23,612.57 - £25,568.63 (FTE: £26,847.00 - £29,071.00)
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Qualifications and Skills:
- GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent
- Knowledge of statutory responsibilities relating to school attendance including parental responsibilities
- Experience of attendance management in a school environment
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils and parents/carers
