We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Tutor to provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support for students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a vital role in raising attainment, building confidence, and helping students overcome barriers to learning, particularly in preparation for GCSE examinations.

Working closely with the Mathematics Department, you will deliver high-quality intervention sessions, monitor student progress, and inspire learners to develop resilience and independent learning skills. Keyresponsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality one-to-one and small-group mathematics tuition to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions that address gaps in learning and improve attainment.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress, adapting support to meet individual needs.
• Support students preparing for assessments and GCSE examinations, building confidence and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers and pastoral teams to maximise student success and wellbeing.

Pay range: SCP12-17 - £25,982.89 - ££28,185.21 - FTE: £29,542.00 - £32,046.00 - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Qualificationsand Skills:

• Degree in Mathematics (or a related subject) or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of effective mathematics teaching, tutoring and intervention strategies.
• Experience of supporting young people and delivering targeted interventions in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly to students of varying abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students, building confidence, resilience and independent learning skills
