We are looking for a Midday Supervisor to work as part of a team supervising pupils during the school lunch break, which includes attending to their welfare and domestic needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times.
  • Promote a calm, inclusive environment that encourages respectful play and social interaction.
  • Support the setup and clearing of dining and outdoor areas.
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies, addressing issues promptly and fairly.
  • Assist with minor first aid and report any incidents or concerns to relevant staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils and staff.
  • Ability and experience of managing behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies.
  • A caring, proactive approach to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing with up to date training.
  • Teamwork skills with the confidence to work independently when required.
  • Basic first aid awareness (or willingness to train), good organisation, and a general education (e.g. GCSEs or equivalent), with prior school-based experience desirable.

Pay range: SCP3 - £5,743.13 - FTE: £24,796.00 - 10 hours per week, 38 weeks per year - Permanent.
