As a Class Teacher at The Grange Primary School, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning that inspires and challenges all pupils. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress effectively, and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported to succeed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support achievement
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and wellbeing
  • Differentiating learning to ensure all pupils, including those with additional needs, can access the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practice

Pay range: M1 - M6 - £32,916.00 - £45,352.00 32.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Permanent

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Strong classroom practice with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to high expectations for all pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Skilled in assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
