Role Overview
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide high-quality classroom supervision during teacher absence, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with students, promote high expectations, support learning across a range of subjects, and uphold excellent standards of behaviour.

Responsibilities
- Supervise lessons during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged with set work.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, creating a positive and productive learning environment.
- Support students’ learning, encouraging participation, independence and inclusion.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff on learning and behaviour.
- Assist with student supervision and contribute to the wider life of the academy.
- Build strong relationships with students, promote high expectations, support learning across a range of subjects, and uphold excellent standards of behaviour.
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) and a Level 3 Cover Supervision, HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of supervising children in a school environment and supporting a range of learning needs.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Confidence using ICT and a good understanding of how children learn and develop.

Pay range: SCP 12-17 - £25,982.89 - £28,185.21 - FTE: £29,542.00 - £32,046.00 - 37 Hours, 39 Weeks - Maternity Cover, Financial and Lifestyle
