Parkwood E-Act Academy is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher to support students through engaging lessons, guiding performances, and embedding drama across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Drama lessons across key stages.
- Inspire creativity, confidence and participation in all students.
- Direct and produce school performances, showcases and events.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to wider school life.
Pay Range
MPS/UPS – £32,916.00 – £51,048.00
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Drama, Performing Arts or a related subject.
- Proven ability to deliver inspiring Drama lessons across key stages.
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, practitioners and performance styles.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
- Experience directing productions or extracurricular activities (desirable).
