We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused ICT professional to join our team and play a key role in supporting the Academy's digital environment.

Working alongside the Hub ICT Business Partner, you will help ensure our ICT systems are reliable, efficient and consistent, providing high-quality technical support to both staff and students. You will be an important point of contact for resolving ICT issues, maintaining effective systems and helping our Academy community make the most of technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving technical problems and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent performance of all ICT systems across our academies, providing reliable support and maintenance.
  • Operate the Academy ICT Helpdesk effectively, logging and resolving helpdesk calls within agreed service levels.
  • Support staff in using ICT equipment and networks, adhering to E-ACT's policies and procedures.
  • Monitor security aspects and promptly address anomalies, reporting concerns to the Hub ICT Business Partner
  • Offer high-level support to network users for office applications and productivity software.

Pay range:

NJC SCP 20-25 Β£32,597.00 - Β£36,363.00

Full Time, Permanent.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 x GCSEs including Maths and English grade 4-9 or equivalent
  • Relevant ICT qualifications or equivalent demonstrable ICT technical support experience
  • Ability to understand a range of organisational and technical procedures and the ability to disseminate to other staff
  • Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Active Directory, IIS, ISA, Proxy Server, Office 365 & Microsoft AAD
