Responsibilities
- Provide in‑class and one‑to‑one support to students to enhance learning and engagement.
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive, well‑structured lessons.
- Identify and address individual learning needs and barriers.
- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning.
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support a range of learning needs with patience and adaptability.
Hours & Pay
- Working hours: 37 per week; FTE: 39 weeks per year.
- Salary: £23,592.34 – £25,152.62 plus £3,518.09 inner London weighting (total £26,824 – £28,598 plus £4,000 inner London weighting).
