Nursery Assistants (Modern Apprentice)
Little Acorns Day Nursery, Royal Cornhill Hospital (DYW North East)
We are offering a modern apprenticeship for a Nursery Assistant within the Little Acorns Day Nursery. This 2-year training contract will involve a variety of job-rotational placements designed to provide excellent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with an innovative and motivated nursery team delivering a high standard of childcare within the nursery setting for NHS Grampian employees.
- Participate in a variety of job‑rotational placements.
Qualifications
- All applicants must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to cope with working in a busy nursery environment.
- A minimum of 5 National 5 grades (or equivalent) at A, B or C in English, Maths and ICT (or similar) and two other subjects of your choice.
Training & Development
- 2‑year training contract.
- Complete Social Services (Children & Young People) qualifications Level 2 (scqf level 6).
- Participate in other organisational personal development activities associated with the post.
