About The Role

We are looking for a friendly and positive individual to come and join our team as a Cook on a relief basis. Based at our Housing with Care developments in Elgin, Forres and Buckie there are various hours available and in accordance with the relief agreement, there will be a requirement to work weekends, public holidays, and cover periods of annual leave within the wider team. The successful candidate will, therefore, be able to demonstrate flexibility to support service continuity in the development.

As a Relief Cook, you will maintain kitchen areas to a high standard in line with environmental health regulations. There shall also be responsibility for both ordering and stock control, with a focus on sourcing produce from local suppliers. The successful candidate will be able to cook and bake to a high standard as well as prepare healthy and nutritional meals in line with individual care plans, this includes for soft diet, diabetes, and catering for any known allergies.
