This position is an excellent opportunity for an early career project coordinator who is highly organised, detail focused, and eager to grow within a forward‑thinking renewable energy company. You will manage smaller projects independently and support Project Managers on larger installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage smaller customer projects from design sign‑off through to installation and commissioning.
  • Track project progress and maintain accurate records within job management software and other internal systems.
  • Confirm project readiness before handover to the Scheduling team.
  • Keep customers informed at key stages of the project and provide clear, professional updates.
  • Support Project Managers with documentation and administration on larger or more complex projects.
  • Identify and escalate delays, risks, or missing information early.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all required documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Ensure project information is complete, accurate, and available to the relevant teams.
  • Support smooth project handover and delivery by working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Help maintain compliance with health and safety requirements throughout project delivery.
  • Represent AES professionally in all customer and internal interactions.
  • Follow all AES policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Contribute positively to the company culture and values of Brilliant, Consistent, Calm, and Grounded.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties that support the goals of AES.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree educated or working towards a degree, preferably in project management, business, engineering, construction, renewable energy or a related subject.
  • Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in a project coordination role.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A professional and positive approach when working with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Commitment to accuracy, quality and delivering a high standard of work.
