We are recruiting Care Assistants to support young people in Moray by joining the team at DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) Moray. We are looking for Care Assistants who are dedicated to making every moment count, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and who have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of residents by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection, and promoting their independence.
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower residents to achieve their personal goals and aspirations; respect each individual’s uniqueness and support them in making informed choices in line with person-centred care plans.
- Promote residents’ health and wellbeing by meeting physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs; facilitate social, educational, and recreational activities, including visits with family and friends, walks, and other activities of their choice.
- Ensure health and safety of all individuals in care, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to Parklands policies and procedures.
