About the role

As our Marketplace Manager, you will own trading across UK & Ireland marketplaces for both A-grade and B-grade (refurbished) Dyson products. Drive profitable growth by managing current partners and unlocking new opportunities, while shaping and executing our full B-grade commercial strategy. You will work cross-functionally with eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Care to deliver strong commercial results and maintain Dyson’s premium presence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Marketplace Trading (A-grade): Hit volume, revenue, and margin targets in A-grade marketplaces (e.g., Debenhams) and lead expansion. Manage trading cycle: forecasting, stock, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and platform experience. Build and strengthen partner relationships; drive quarterly business reviews and joint plans. Identify and secure new A-grade channels aligned with our brand.
  • B-Grade Trading (Refurbishment): Lead B-grade strategy; achieve profit and inventory goals across marketplaces like eBay. Grow and manage the full B-grade partner ecosystem, from marketing to supply planning. Build new sales channels and collaborate closely with the refurbishment team. Optimise forecasting, inventory, and commercial negotiations.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth, compliant trading with internal teams. Use data insights and reporting tools (like PowerBI, Tableau) to refine strategy and performance. Present results, spot risks and opportunities, and bring fresh market ideas to Dyson.

About you

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • A commercially sharp, data-focused, and passionate about eCommerce marketplaces mindset.
  • The ability to thrive on ownership, balance daily execution with strategic thinking, and deliver exceptional digital experiences.

  • Proven P&L and trading accountability, including B-grade or outlet channels.
  • Hands-on supply chain and inventory planning expertise.
  • Strong data skills using BI/reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Skilled relationship builder and negotiator with both internal and external partners.
  • Excellent organiser—comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
  • Experienced in content optimisation, campaigns, and digital operations.
  • Capable working independently but highly collaborative.
  • Experience with integration platforms (Rithum, Mirakle) is an advantage.
  • Curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset.
  • Premium brand or high-expectation environment experience.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Adobe Analytics, Magento, etc.).
