About The Role
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Creating IP rights in patent management system (Anaqua)
- Processing incoming emails from agents and patent offices and updating IP records in patent management system (Anaqua)
- Data inputting / checking
- Filing new IP rights (patents, designs & TMs)
- Filing SFD (F7, Formal drawings, Exam report responses) using online filling software
- Preparing and submitting IDS instructions to US agents & uploading related art into patent management system (Anaqua)
- Collating, reviewing and uploading internal search results
- Ordering priority documents
- Ordering and checking formal drawings
- Monitoring and requesting EM publications
- EP claims translations & validations
- Other general IP admin duties
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone that ideally holds the CIPA administration qualification or has strong IP administration experience. The ideal candidate will be someone that can demonstrate IT literacy, are quick to learn, organised, reliable and have strong attention to detail. They would need to demonstrate working well under pressure, prioritising workload and working to strict deadlines. Due to the nature of the department it's essential that you take pride in your work and can commit to being highly accurate in your duties. Whilst you will be working in a team, the ability to work on your own and using your initiative is essential. Lastly, the pace at Dyson is incredibly fast so therefore you must be comfortable with working at pace.
