About Us

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We transform every category we enter with radical reinvention and pioneering innovation – from haircare and vacuums to air treatment and wearable technology.

We’re growing fast, and our ambition is bold – more categories, more markets, more people, and more problem-solving. Our culture is unique: fast-paced, empowered, and constantly evolving. Dyson people are change-makers and risk-takers, passionate about delivering excellence and challenging the status quo.

About the Role

This is a high-impact, dual-focused role that blends daily trading accountability across UK & Ireland Marketplaces with full ownership of our B-grade commercial strategy. You’ll drive profitable growth through Dyson’s existing and emerging A-grade and B-grade marketplace partners, and identify, evaluate and execute new business opportunities across both streams.

You will work cross-functionally across eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Care, and collaborate closely with marketplace partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences, strong commercial outcomes, and a premium Dyson brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace (A-grade)

Deliver volume, revenue, and margin targets across all UK&I A-grade marketplaces (currently Debenhams), with future expansion into new partners.

Own the full trading cycle: forecasting, stock planning, merchandising, content, pricing, promotions, and performance optimisation.

Ensure a seamless and premium customer journey across all platforms, aligned to Dyson’s global brand and trading standards.

Manage relationships with existing marketplace partners; lead quarterly business reviews, co-develop joint business plans, and execute partner marketing activations.

Identify and secure new A-grade marketplace opportunities that align with Dyson’s commercial and brand objectives.

Lead Dyson’s B-grade commercial strategy in the UK & Ireland, delivering volume, profit, and inventory targets.

Manage and grow performance on existing B-grade marketplaces including eBay, owning the end-to-end relationship, promotional calendar, and collaborative marketing activations.

Explore and evaluate new business B-grade opportunities, and other relevant channels.

Build a robust channel plan across direct, affiliate, and 3rd-party platforms for B-grade sales; work closely with the performance marketing and affiliate teams to unlock new campaigns and partnerships.

Collaborate with Dyson’s refurbishment centre to develop and manage the B-grade supply plan, ensuring accurate forecasting, stock allocation, and replenishment.

Own the full forecasting and inventory planning process across B-grade, driving efficient stock utilisation and minimising aged stock.

Represent Dyson in B-grade commercial negotiations, ensuring sustainable commercial terms and high-quality execution.

Operational Excellence & Reporting

Collaborate cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, Legal, and IT to ensure trading operations are smooth, compliant, and optimised.

Champion agile digital execution and maintain a bug-free, compliant, and up-to-date presence across all marketplaces.

Leverage data insights, BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau), and performance metrics to inform trading decisions, drive continuous improvement, and identify commercial opportunities.

Lead and present regular performance reporting to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and next steps.

Stay across trends, competitor activity, and marketplace innovation, bringing fresh ideas and best practices into Dyson.

About You

We’re looking for a commercially driven eCommerce professional with a passion for marketplace trading and digital customer experiences. You’re hands-on, analytical, resilient, and excited by both daily execution and long-term innovation.

Proven experience managing and growing performance on online marketplaces or pure play retailers (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Debenhams, Argos or similar).

Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership, commercial planning, and trading accountability, experience with owning a JBP

Experience in B-grade/refurbished trading or outlet channels is highly desirable.

Excellent stock and supply chain planning skills; confident owning forecasts and driving inventory decisions.

Strong relationship management and negotiation experience, both internally and with external partners.

Confident with data; strong analytical mindset and experience using reporting/BI tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI).

Strong organisational and project management skills – able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Experience in content and merchandising optimisation, campaign planning, and digital operations.

Comfortable working independently with high attention to detail, but also collaborative in nature.

Experience with integration platforms such as Rithum and Mirakle are preferable.

Curious, not afraid to fail, collaborative and always willing to learn.

Experience working within a premium or branded environment with high customer experience expectations.
