As a Platform Lead reporting to the Platform Content Manager, you own the content build strategy, execution best practices and operational delivery for a specific content platform or channel. You manage a team of content experts across platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Service Cloud, App, Zoovu, AEM, Hybris, Magento 2, and a range of CRM platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the content build strategy, execution best practices and operational delivery for your Platform channel.
- Lead and develop a team of content experts; guide recruitment and training to ensure high quality content experiences.
- Be at the forefront of your platform for the team, request enhancements to improve owner experience and campaign capability, stay up to date with all functionality, and create guides on how to use Dyson platforms effectively.
- Train platform users across teams globally and ensure content platforms are well understood and utilized.
- Plan, manage and execute an agile sprint delivery process tailored to fit Revenue, Marketing and Business Unit teams for your Platform stream; build and roll out content pages, deliverables and assets in line with campaign timings.
- Collaborate with Experience Delivery Managers or IT Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to brief specs.
- Provide regular updates to Platform Content Management on content delivery progress and the operational process framework for content builds, continually improving efficiency and effectiveness through workflows, templating and automation.
- Develop and manage platform and content configurations, including knowledge of content build capabilities and coding language to maximise the value of our content solutions (e.g., queries for databases, audience targeting, layouts and modules within emails, notifications, and CMS).
- Work with category stakeholders to design, shape and write end-to-end omnichannel digital experiences to deliver a world-class owner experience and surface campaigns and new products.
- Manage third-party content administration suppliers, scale experiences across platforms, and oversee SLAs for content delivery and quality.
- Localise and activate content with cross-functional and global teams in line with NPD and campaign launch timings; train other Dyson digital teams to understand platforms and drive quality, consistency and on-time activation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience using CMS platforms, preferably Salesforce Marketing/Service Cloud, AEM, Hybris, Magento, Sitecore, SAP CRM.
- Skilled in planning and delivering content through agile sprints.
- Experience working with and managing an offshore or global team in content delivery is advantageous.
- Ability to motivate, engage and inspire a team; accountable for their output and project deliverables.
- Content delivery management and production experience.
- Resilience and composure to guide projects and teams through issues and deliver high-quality business outcomes.
- Experience in Digital Transformation and a strategic view of business organisational needs.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably the Atlassian suite.
- Team player and self-starter with strong communication skills at all levels.
