Dyno Plumbing in Scotland are looking for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team. You will be working in mostly private domestic homes serving the British Gas Homecare customers and also at times some of our non-contract and commercial Key Account customers.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of domestic plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work meets safety standards and complies with regulations.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's guidelines.
  • Always carry out the works requested in a professional and proactive manner.
  • To communicate clearly and effectively with the customer and wider Dyno team.
  • Proactively assisting the customer with best advice on looking after their home or business.
  • Attending team meetings/briefings as always requested.
  • To provide accurate time sheet information weekly and on time.
  • To ensure that the Company is always presented in a good light.
  • Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Dispatch Team and/or Plumbing management team.
  • Participation in On-Call Rota.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all tasks.
Previous Experience:
  • Health & Safety awareness is necessary.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis.
  • Previous experience of working within a team.
  • SVQ/NVQ City & Guilds in Plumbing or equivalent.
