Our cutting-edge approach to simulator design delivers more data about vehicle dynamics and ride to drivers and passengers with less latency and more accurately than any other motion simulators available. Our CEO Ash Warne started the business in 2017 after leading the simulator programmes at McLaren and Ferrari F1 teams. We have since grown to a team of over 40 engineers, delivering turnkey driving simulators to customers including Ferrari F1 Team as well as a number of other marquee brands. As a Stores Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our inventory operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the storage, organisation, and tracking of materials and components essential to our manufacturing processes. Your role will involve maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth production The Person: Enthusiastic character that is keen to work in a dynamic and high paced environment. Able to take a pragmatic view on balancing workload and prioritising based on business demands. Needs to have an excellent eye for detail and pride themselves on high quality workmanship. Self-starter an able to work independently and manage their own workload. Responsibilities: Manage the Goods In/Goods Out process: Process Warehouse Receipts on ERP system and put away stock items in their physical location (use forklift desirable) Manage supplier returns, create delivery notes to customers, suppliers (free-issued items) Lead stock checks Overall responsibility for accuracy of stock within ERP system, regular/rolling stock checks Responsibility for year-end stock taking Regular reviews of stock for obsolescence Manage the operational part of the Non-Conformance Process Inspection and quality checks Scanning and filing CoCs Experience in an engineering company with the ability to identify issues with specs/materials vs engineering drawings (desirable) Physical inspection of items coming in Goods In (advantageous but can be taught) Manage any stock discrepancies on system Relationships : Collaborating with Finance & Procurement on stock related issues Collaborate with the Build team in assisting them with kitting, stock availability, etc Behavioural skills: Ability to work in a team and offer themselves to support others/complete other tasks as required by the business Accurate and promptly communicate with internal and external stakeholders Demonstrate accountability and a sense of responsibility Resilience in getting problems solved Accuracy and attention to detail Show willingness to continual improvement of processes and working environment Business Central or Microsoft D365 experience would be preferable Why join Dynisma?
