The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager who thrives on securing new business. This role focuses on building new customer relationships, opening strategic accounts, and growing Dynexs presence across the industrial market.
This is a hunter-style position where you will lead customer engagements from the ground up -supported by our technical and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow the customer base in industrial power electronics: inverters, drives, UPS, welding systems, and automation.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and secure design-in wins.
- Build trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, and decision-making teams.
- Deliver high-quality technical and commercial presentations to support sales efforts.
- Represent Dynex at customer visits, trade shows, and key industry events.
- Provide prompt follow-up and support to all customer inquiries.
- Work cross-functionally with product, technical, and marketing teams to align market needs with solutions.
About You:
We are looking for a confident and capable sales professional who brings energy, structure, and credibility to customer engagements.
You will bring:
- A strong track record in business development or sales within the power electronics or semiconductor market.
- Experience with power electronics components and systems such as:
- IGBT Modules
- Industrial Motor Drives
- Welding Converters / Inverters
- High-Power UPS Systems
- HVDC Converters
- Power Assemblies
- Familiarity with applications and companies such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, or similar.
- A proactive, strategic, and well-organised approach to managing a territory.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
