Dynatrace is seeking a proven and dynamic leader to serve as a Global Travel & Expenses Manager to support its finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and optimizing our global T&E operations and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end T&E processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, driving process improvements and delivering a seamless employee experience across all regions.

Your role at Dynatrace

Dynatrace is seeking a proven and dynamic leader to serve as a Global Travel & Expenses Manager to support its finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and optimizing our global T&E operations and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end T&E processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, driving process improvements and delivering a seamless employee experience across all regions.

Responsibilities:

Global T&E Policy Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain global T&E policies and procedures
  • Ensure alignment with local regulations, tax requirements, and company objectives
  • Oversee the corporate Card program, including issuance, maintenance, and compliance monitoring
  • Educate employees and stakeholders on policy updates and best practices

Process Ownership & Optimization:

  • Lead the global T&E process, including expense reporting, reimbursements, and audits
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, P&C, IT, Procurement) to streamline workflows

Technology & Systems Oversight:

  • Manage T&E platform (Concur) and ensure optimal configuration and integration
  • Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Audit T&E transactions for policy compliance and fraud prevention
  • Lead internal audits and support external audits related to T&E
  • Ensure adherence to SOX controls and other regulatory requirements

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Provide regular reporting on T&E spend, trends, and KPIs to senior leadership
  • Use data insights to drive cost-saving initiatives and policy adjustments

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a global team of T&E analysts

What Will Help You Succeed

  • Significant experience in T&E, with at least 5 years in a global managerial role
  • Knowledge of Concur system and/or similar expenses technology
  • Extensive knowledge of global compliance, tax regulations and audit processes
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with process automation or AI-driven expense tools – desirable
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage change
  • Experience designing and operating effective internal controls
  • Proven experience within Project/Program management experience
  • Previous achievement of digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience working with global operations teams across multiple geographies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable connecting with and communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization and in every region in which we operate
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task while exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support multiple time zones to work with regional stakeholders
