Your role at Dynatrace involves reporting to the EMEA Payroll Operations Lead. The EMEA Sr. Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day payroll operations for the EMEA Region locations using an outsourced payroll model with Cloudpay. This role works closely with the EMEA Payroll team members and the broader Finance and HR teams. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) from our Maidenhead office.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day running of the assigned pay groups, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Liaise with internal HR partners to collect and organize payroll data before preparing templates for submission to 3rd party providers, ensuring a thorough understanding of data.
  • In-depth understanding of Payroll processes.
  • Handle complex payroll scenarios, such as international assignments, expatriate payroll, and cross-border payments.
  • Support the payroll lead with related operations for the EMEA region in an outsourced environment.
  • Provide support and handle escalations in a timely manner, managing internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensure tight reconciliation and controls over payments to 3rd party vendors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Assist with handling queries from employees, internal partners, and vendors.
  • Ensure process controls are in place; maintain, validate, and update process documentation as applicable to ensure compliance.

What will help you succeed:

  • English proficiency skills. A German, French or Spanish speaking to business level would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Significant experience of processing end-to-end payroll across multiple countries in Europe.
  • Experience with outsourced managed payroll environments, specifically Cloudpay.
  • Experience using SFEC HCM.
  • Experience of processing stock compensation is desirable.
  • Solid functional knowledge, commensurate with level, including understanding of payroll processes and regulations aligned to SOX compliance.
  • A proven, customer-driven attitude towards employees of all levels.
  • Deadline driven with excellent attention to detail and a self-starter.
  • Capable of working independently, as a member of the team, and in partnership with vendors.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Uses initiative to solve problems.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel.
