Your role at Dynatrace
Reporting to the EMEA Payroll Operations Sr.Lead, the EMEA Payroll Manager will manage day to day payroll operations for the EMEA Region locations using an outsourced payroll model with Cloudpay. This role works closely with the EMEA Payroll team members and the broader Finance and HR teams. The right candidate must be a team player and is required to have excellent communication skills.
This is a Fixed Term Contract ending December 2027. Hybrid working model: 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) at our Maidenhead office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guides the work of direct reports in processing and reconciling Payroll. Re-assessing priorities and workload as needed
- Is responsible and owns the review and sign-off for assigned payrolls being delivered
- Guides team efforts in the performance of Payroll Operations in EMEA
- Ensures controls are in place by the team for checking, processing payroll and sending payroll file to & from payroll provider
- Provides problem solving, project coordination, and overall payroll planning and consultation for designated payrolls
- Ensuring service levels are met whilst maintaining strong relationships and an accurate payroll function
- Leads discussions with vendors and Internal Teams to ensure proper handling of issues and use of controls to mitigate risk
- Ensure that agreed KPI's and SLA's are in met and adhered to by the team driving a continuous improvement mind-set
- Leads Projects as assigned
- Responsible for training others, cross training and/or developing process knowledge
- Assist others in the completion of activities as and when needed
- Work with Sr. Leadership to set team member goals and objectives
What will help you succeed
- Strong Payroll experience in a similar role
- Understanding of EMEA statutory and compliance environment
- Experience in managing teams
- Experience with outsourced managed payroll environments manual and integrated, specifically Cloudpay.
- Experience using SFEC HCM
- Experience of processing stock compensation is desirable
- Solid functional knowledge, commensurate with level, including understanding of payroll processes and regulations aligned to SOX compliance
- A proven, customer driven attitude towards employees of all levels
- Deadline driven with excellent attention to detail and a self-starter
- Capable of working independently, as a member of the team, and in partnership with vendors
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
