We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver to join our busy, growing client in Chandlers Ford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence who enjoys practical work and being part of a busy warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing a range of technical equipment - both mechanical and electrical
- Assist engineers with testing, preparation, loading, and unloading equipment
- Load and unload goods in and out - using a forklift
- Pick job orders accurately and efficiently
- Recording equipment data and report any faults or issues
- Support and reporting stock checking and audits
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Clean large equipment using pressure washing equipment
- Follow company procedures and health & safety standards at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Recent background in a similar role (essential)
- Knowledge in a mechanical or electrical background (desired)
- Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
- Basic IT skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
