This is a varied role suited to an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial reporting, forecasting and management accounts, alongside an interest in improving financial processes and controls.

The Project Accountant Role
- Supporting accurate and timely financial reporting across the business
- Preparing and improving management accounts, forecasting and budgeting information
- Supporting cash flow, treasury and VAT reporting
- Reviewing and improving financial processes and controls
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and financial reporting
- Supporting external audits and wider finance projects
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight
- Supporting the implementation and improvement of finance systems and processes
The Ideal Project Accountant Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant or equivalent
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A process-driven approach with a genuine interest in continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and using initiative
