Payroll Analyst

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting a Payroll Analyst to join an established business based in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a busy finance and HR environment, supporting accurate and timely payroll delivery across multiple payrolls. The role will suit someone who enjoys working with payroll data, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and providing a high level of service to employees. Benefits: Competitive salary Hybrid working Progression opportunities Staff Incentives The Payroll Analyst Role: Support the end-to-end processing of multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are consistently met Prepare and validate payroll changes, checking data and investigating any discrepancies Complete payroll reconciliations, variance checks and payroll comparisons Work with external payroll providers to resolve queries and discrepancies Support calculations relating to PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments and pensions Assist with benefits and pension administration Maintain accurate payroll records, processes and documentation Support payroll reporting, projects and process improvements The Ideal Payroll Analyst Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of UK payroll processes and statutory requirements Experience with payroll reconciliations, variance analysis and identifying discrepancies Good understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments Strong Excel skills, particularly Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and SUMIFS Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy    Please contact Zoe Jones at Dynamite Recruitment on (phone number removed) for more details or apply now!!!! #accountancy&finance2026
