Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (based on a 4-day working week)
Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and respected business based in the Petersfield / Midhurst area. Due to maternity cover, we are recruiting an Account Manager to join the team on a part-time basis (4 days per week) for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a small number of key international accounts in depth, building long-term relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact. Trainee candidates will also be considered, so if you have transferable skills and are keen to develop a career in account management, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role:
- As an Account Manager, you will work alongside the sales director to manage client accounts and be responsible for:
- The full account management cycle
- Handling client communication via email
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Logging into client portals, collating data, and producing reports
- Identifying new business opportunities and potential clients
- Taking product samples out to clients
- Completing online and face-to-face training with clients
- Running regular face-to-face client meetings
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Completing onboarding documentation for new clients
- Completing sales analysis reports using Excel
- Data analytics and reporting in general to meet client SLAs
- Completing administration to support each client account
About You:
- The ideal Account Manager will:
- Have experience in an Account Management role (retail experience desirable)
- Be highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be confident working under pressure and to deadlines
- Have strong Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Be comfortable liaising with multiple departments and stakeholders
Working Pattern & Benefits:
- Part-time role: 4 days per week
- Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
- Core working hours 4 days per week
- Competitive salary of £28,000 – £30,000 (pro rata for 4 days)
