The Gas Engineer day to day:
- Responding to emergency gas and plumbing repairs, attending faults and resolving issues quickly and safely.
- Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing faults across gas systems, pipework, valves, fittings and appliances.
- Installing, commissioning, servicing and safely removing gas appliances where required.
- Completing gas safety checks and providing accurate certification and documentation.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with client requirements, SLAs and reporting procedures.
- Supporting installation and upgrade projects across domestic and commercial properties.
- Representing HAS professionally on-site, providing a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with Gas Safe regulations, health & safety procedures and compliance requirements.
- Taking part in the (Very infrequent) on-call rota, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required - Opt in to do more on call is permitted.
