Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function for a small, family-run business based in East Grinstead on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on position reporting directly to the Directors, with responsibility for managing the accounts through to trial balance, alongside overseeing two members of the finance team on an ad hoc basis.

The Finance Manager Role:
- Managing sales and purchase ledgers, including processing invoices and chasing outstanding debts
- Producing monthly management reports and profit & loss summaries
- Completing daily bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing accounts through to trial balance for year-end review
- Supporting or managing monthly payroll processing and pension contributions
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns via Sage in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
- Producing CIS returns
- Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage Line 50
The Ideal Finance Manager Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Confident managing accounts through to trial balance
- Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified but would consider QBE
- Strong Excel skills with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
