Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading service provider who have multiple sites across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Driver & Stock Operative to join the Warehouse & Logistics Team.
The Role
This is a hands-on role combining driving, stock control, and logistics support. You’ll be based at our Head Office in Chandlers Ford, but will spend most of your time on the road, travelling across the South of England and Wales, visiting remote sites and storage locations. You will collect stock, complete audits, support our technicians, and return materials and goods back to Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect stock and waste from multiple sites and technicians across the UK
- Carry out regular stock counts and vehicle audits for field-based technicians
- Support stock control, equipment calibration and PAT testing logistics
- Organise and plan routes efficiently to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
- Maintain safe storage and transport of stock and tools
- Assist with the recovery of equipment, or materials
- Liaise with field technicians to arrange site visits and collections
- Support the warehouse team overall
Essential Requirements:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Confident and comfortable with long-distance driving (UK-wide)
- Physically fit – capable of lifting, moving and loading stock
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to be on the road the majority of the working day
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
