This role will be great for a BMS Project Engineer or a BMS Design Engineer who enjoys the technical side of building controls - designing, programming, configuring and integrating systems that control and monitor HVAC, energy and other building services. You'll be working on large scale projects between values of £1M to £4M!

Key BMS Application Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure and programme BMS control systems for a range of commercial and technically complex buildings
  • Develop control strategies for HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning
  • Configure and integrate BMS systems using protocols including BACnet, Modbus and KNX
  • Work with platforms including Distech, Niagara and Trend
  • Set up and modify BMS graphics and supervisor systems
  • Carry out point commissioning and support system testing
  • Diagnose problems and troubleshoot systems within live buildings
  • Optimise building controls to improve energy efficiency and system performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Engineer / Application Engineer role within construction, building services or BMS
  • Strong experience with BMS and control systems
  • Software experience with Distech, Niagara and Trend
  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Commutable to the Canary Wharf office
