Location: Croydon
Salary: up to Β£35,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 per week 9AM till 5PM Monday to Friday

Dynamite Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a long-standing, highly respected M&E contractor with a refrigeration bias and a history of over 24 years in the industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly and dedicated office team

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid experience in the construction industry and strong working knowledge of CIS and VAT to play a key role in supporting the company s finance function

The role of a Bookkeeper

  • Assist with CIS submissions, reconciliations, and BACS payments
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Match internal and external invoices to purchase orders using internal systems
  • Record and process supplier invoices accurately
  • Liaise directly with clients regarding books and records
  • Appropriately code payables for later accountant input
  • Provide general administrative and clerical finance support
  • Undertake additional bookkeeping duties as required by management

The Ideal Bookkeeper candidate

  • Proven experience in a finance or bookkeeping role within the construction industry
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Match internal and external invoices to purchase orders using internal systems
