Our client is a leading name in the Fire Protection industry, with an excellent reputation and an exciting period of continued growth ahead. As the business expands, they are now looking for a strategic and sales-driven National Account Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked in the Fire and Security industry, and has experience with hospitality, leisure and retail businesses.
The Role of a National Account Manager:
- To concentrate on retention and development of existing customers
- Managing existing accounts and maximising sales opportunities
- Prospecting, finding new leads and gaining new business and accounts
- Manage complex sales cycles and negotiate commercial agreements
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking and referrals
- Identify emerging market trends and competitor activity to support business strategy
- Achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Proactively promote the brand, products and business offers
- Manages and develops an agreed geographical sales territory
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a full driving license
- To ideally have experience in the fire protection industry
- Proven success as a NAM, Key Account Manager or BDM
- Be confident in controlling boardroom meetings with clients
- To have strong negotiation skills
- Be confident in problem solving
- Must have previous experience within sales and account management
- Must be willing to work on a National basis
- Will have excellent communication and people skills
- Must be target driven and result focused
- IT literate and comfortable working with numbers and percentages
