We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automated Opening Vent (AOV) Engineer to join our growing fire and smoke control division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of AOV and smoke ventilation systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of AOV and smoke ventilation systems
- Fault finding and repair of control panels, actuators, vents, dampers, and associated equipment
- Commissioning and testing of smoke control systems
- Ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations and British Standards
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and site managers
- Participate in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works and reactive callouts where required
- Previous experience working with AOV / smoke ventilation systems
- Knowledge of fire safety and smoke control systems
- Experience with natural and mechanical smoke ventilation systems desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
